Gates of Isthar was formed in Luleå, Sweden in 1992.
Their debut demo ‘Season of Frost’ led to a record deal with Finnish Spinefarm records.
Their debut album ‘A Bloodred Path’ was recorded at the famous Tico-Tico studios
(Sentenced, Demigod, Impaled Nazarene) and released in 1996.
The Vic records re-issue of the highly acclaimed debut album
comes with a booklet remake very close to the orginal 1994 version
and the same cover-art as used back then.
Great melodic Sweidsh death metal like Dawn, Dissection, Sacramentum and early At The Gates.
